Started in 1988 by Richard Reynolds, the company was initially known as Network ACI and had a strong focus throughout the 1990’s providing Voice & Data services to various trade associations and their membership. Including just about every major Hospital in Puget Sound as well as providing all of the Toll Free Services to the State of Washington. Before being acquired in late 1999 by a CLEC, Network ACI was widely recognized throughout the industry as the region’s premier facilities-based Telecom carrier. 

Committed to its customers, Richard Reynolds re-launched the company in 2001 this time with the name of X5 Solutions. As previously before, X5 was launched with the mandate to provide the most competitive and reliable telecommunication services available to commercial customers in the region. Today, X5 Solutions is a privately held, facilities-based telecommunications carrier providing a comprehensive array of communication services to the business market throughout the United States. As testimony to its success, X5 finds itself in the extremely rare and fortunate position of being one of the very few Telecommunications Carriers that is both profitable and debt free!
